December or January

I thought I'd create a wiki page in case people want to discuss December vs. January for the next LSUG meeting.

There is a Doodle poll set up for people to express a preference here: [1]

Date's currently mooted are 10/12/2008 vs. 14/01/2009 (based on the current convention of 2nd Wednesday of the month for the meetings).

Simple pros/cons so far:

* December pro, January con: A December meeting maintains regularity.
* December con, January pro: December is very busy in terms of venues, and often expensive.
